Getting adequate image related to a blog post can be time consuming. And also, we all want more traffic. Here I have created a video showing how to get more potential traffic to the WordPress blog using simple extension for Mozilla Firefox.
It is Zemanta which automatically (while you write) provides and suggest:
- related images to your post;
- related links for your posts (and that way you are in position to make them as trackbacks and get more traffic to your blog).
From several of images you just pick one that is related to your post topic and also pick other related links that are suggested there by Zemanta. These links you will set as trackbacks later.
If your blog is hosted by wordpress.com, that way you already have zemanta integrated in your WordPress. And you can use images and links preselected there while you write. But if your WordPress is hosted on your individual domain by other host, then you need to download Firefox extension and that way enable Zemanta to work for you.
Bottom line:
Will images and links always be related?
No!
Will you always get trackback from other bloggers?
No!
Will zemanta most of the time suggest good related content?
Yes!
Will you drive more traffic?
Yes!
Above all it’s free. Get zemanta extension for Firefox.
Oh, and I forgot to show in video how this blog tool, besides links for trackbacks and images, also suggests tags…. it will be just under the editor when you type the text. Enjoy!

Thanks Sloba
I had downloaded zemanta the other day but hadn’t explored how to use it. You just saved me a lot of time and I can see it works beautifully.
yup! Seth. I am glad that video helped you. Its the new wave of traffic exchange, and actually when you understand it’s easy to use.
What a terrific piece. Thank you.
thanks. gree
