Image and Photo Edit in Easy Way
May 15, 2008
I have used online tools for images resizing. But, recently I discovered a perfect web 2.0 tool for full photo editing. Its better and advanced than any other I used before. You can put your images online and fix it and adjust it as you like. Its called Picnik. And the best part it can be synchronized with Mozilla Firefox as add-on. Bear with me, because I’m going to show you how.
First, at Picnik You can add your image from all around the web. Get it directly from MySpace, Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, or you can just start from your own album from your computer or from web cam. Quite simple.
Second, there is not only resize image option like in many services. It provides whole bunch of options for photo-editing like next capabilities: auto-fix, rotate, crop, resize, exposure, sharpen, or even move out red-eyes from photos. I believe you’ll be as satisfied as me. And since it is a web 2.0 tool and service, nothing has to be downloaded.
Here is an example how you can play around with image saturation and temperature, giving different look to images:
Do you follow me so far? I left a tidbit for the end. I hope you have Mozilla Firefox installed. With Mozilla it gets even better form.
Here we go. The best part is that it can be easily added to Mozilla Firefox as an extension. So, when i want to edit the image, I just click on it (right click) and select „edit image in Picnik“ Just downoad firefox extenion here, and you will have the same function. Reason for this…it will save you time.
Here’s what to do now:
- And enjoy this web 2.0 tool anytime you edit image from Flickr, Photobucket, or your comp!
