Quite simple with RSS on the site active you will have more viewers. Your audience can conveniently catch your site without even going out and looking for that certain site. While at first, it may seem curved, it will in fact enhance the visibility of your site. This is so because users can easily keep up or keep track with your site, to allow them to view in a way that they want to.

For example, every week your website broadcasts a new feature. Having no RSS feed, your viewers will always have to keep in mind to go to your website in a certain time to see if they discover something new. However, if you supply a feed for your viewers, they can just point to their aggregator and it will instantly provide them a link along with a description of happenings or events at your site immediately.

Why Choose FeedBurner?

Most blog themes have RSS feeds integrated, but its much better to provide them with free service - FeedBurner.

Whether you call yourself a blogger, podcaster, vlogger, audio blogger or any combination of the above, they get it. In fact, They’re currently feeding 1,057,910 publishers who’ve burned 1,879,482 feeds (as of 30 Jul 08).. With FeedBurner is posible to Publicize - Optimize - Analyze - Monetize RSS feeds. So much more options, while integration and usage is smooth.

Are you afraid you will not have the time to devote to blogging? Blogs are certainly the way to show your inner self to the world, but lack of time always can be an obstacle. Setting few time management tweaks can help. So, consider these five tips to making your blogging more effective.

1. First, you could consider adjusting up a community blog. A community blog is one that is run by several people who are like-minded. As an alternative to individual weblogs, this helps to get rid of the demands for constant posting by one person. With few people making up a team of bloggers, each person can post a couple of times a week and lead to a blog that is more dynamic.

2. If you do not prefer to create a blog with a community of bloggers acting together, you can also decide to hire a team of bloggers. This is similar to the technique newspapers use. In fact, many successful blogs are successful because they do just that - different authors contribute articles. This helps to assure brisk and timely posting, thus creating your blog more attractive to visitors. This as well helps to increase your audience because each blogger will bring with it his or her own influence.

Like this idea but not sure about the expense? You can offset the cost by setting aside the display of Adsense advertisements. As a matter of fact this can even turn out to be a profit making venture as well.

3. Next, you can recycle content to save time. Search for relevant articles on your matter and break them down into segments fit for a blog post. You can also use partial interviews and other things. You will be able to set this ahead and post parts daily as a series.

4. Another way to save time is to apply audio in your blog. Some people simply feel it easier to speak into a microphone than to write something. It’s absolutely good to mix things up and apply a variety of both in your blog.

5. Finally, you may automate yours blog posts. Many blog programs allow you to make blog posts ahead of time to be published at a future date and time. So, if you have some free time, you can create articles for the rest of the week. Automate them to post each day, and your blog stays on updated with no extra work on your role. This can be a huge time saver because you don’t have to sit at the computer to type every single day. There are days when we don’t have enough time or space to tell everything we want to say. There are other days when we would prefer not to talk at all. Instead of having several entries on one day and then nothing for the next two or three days, you can write it all at once and have it post each day.

How can you find an audience actually to read what you have written? Your blog has been created and you have started to post. Weblog will automatically bring some free traffic through pinging and organic SEO traffic, but this always can be amended and blog traffic can be increased. Consider using the tips below to increase your readership.

First, be sure to apply good quality content. What is written in your blog should be interesting enough to keep people’s attention, because the goal is not only to increase the traffic, yet to retain readers, too. So, it is important to update your weblog regularly. To default every new post is bringing new readers. Use keywords in your content to help you blog to get search engines traffic.

Become a part of communities that are relevant to blogging. Talk to other bloggers about what has worked for them, and do not be afraid to take their advice.

Take the time to publish an RSS feed. Here is a weblog directories submitter tool.

Take care in choosing the titles of your subjects and articles. Think about what potential readers will be searching for, and incorporate keywords into your titles.

Participate in other people’s blogs. Comment on them and pass feedback. Most comment features offer you the chance to post a link back to your weblog, and you may interest that blog’s owner or a reader of that blog who may be interested in what you have to say.

Set up your email and forum signatures to include the link to your blog. This is easy promoting and traffic generator that you take the time to arrange once. You never know when a potential reader may get through your link and become fascinated with what you have to say!

Write articles and submit them to online article directories. I have listed some major article directories here. I must confess that I was lazy and I haven’t submitted any article to directories for this blog yet, but its proven traffic provider and will do that certainly. Most directories allow you to place an author’s byline at the end of the article. You can include a link to your blog in that byline.

The most important thing to remember is that a solid readership does not evolve overnight. It takes time before the blog can become successful. Spend time reading other blogs, making comments, and getting to know those writers. Have fun with it, and allow your blog to grow naturally on its own.

Blogs can be wonderful traffic tools, wonderful for social networking and making friendly relationship. With a little effort and some time, you can acquire a readership full of loyal, interested friends or partners.

The guide is covering basics, but also bloggers can find advanced tips with particular attention on how to use blogs in business purposes.

Blogging is casual way to stay connected with readers, customers or friends. Online presence defines will someone use blogs for business or private purpose, and from blogging boom few years ago it just keeps expanding. Technorati.com has passed the way from tracking 14.2 million weblogs in July 2005 to tracking 112.8 million weblogs now in July 2008. Monitoring the market Technorati has made several reports giving the intersection of blogosphere. One such report tells that blogosphere continues to double about every 5,5 months, but also points some problems in blogosphere with about half of blogs in three months end with updating.

Founder of web2whizzing, Slobodan Borkovic, on this problem stated “Fact is that there are obstacles in blogging and main issues I see in blogging technical nature and lack of content ideas, leading people to quit. Nevertheless, another fact is that can be surpassed with decent guidance to follow. There are few ways it can be done, from reading well blogging book or following other bloggers tips”.

The whole process from blog installation and first post to creating a dynamic successful blog doesn’t have to be painful. If we look at web2whizzing tutorials (web2whizzing tutorials), the guide is crossing from creating a first weblog to traffic, writing and content tips, with video tutorials covering WordPress search engines optimization.

Slobodan also emphasizes that WordPress is his choice as a blogging publishing platform:
“I see WordPress as a Mercedes Benz in blog publishing. WordPress is offering large number of different “plugins”, which are there to expand functionality of the blog. Installation is easy and overall usage of WordPress is quite smooth once basics have been understood”.

Having an online journal seems as a must for businesses and as a habit for ordinary people. If you’re not willing to leap some important steps make consulting with web2whizzing tutorials, and visit website below for complete information.

I want to share really cool tool. You are probably using bookmarking sites to save interesting pages, articles or whole sites. But what about when you want to clip just a part of the text, one paragraph or just one sentence? Fortunately there is a solution in the form of web 2.0 tool. It is very useful. Instead of bookmarking whole web page, with this web 2.0 tool you can clip exactly what you want, and at the same time to have organized those memos. Try Clipmarks by yourself, but before that let me tell you how easy is for use.

First you need to register on the site and to install clipmark button on your Mozilla Firefox browser. After that every time you want to bookmark any part on the page (text, image, or even video) you just click on the button on your Mozilla browser and you will be able easily to clip any part you wish.

The clips will be saved for you in your Clipmarks account, and they can be viewable by other members, or you can make them private.

In addition to that you can post clips to your blog (WordPress, blogger, typepad, live journal and other blogging platforms) embed to MySpace, Facebook, or email them to friends. With this neat web 2.0 tool you can print your clipmarks and save paper that way, without being annoyed trying to copy and paste to a Word document.

Get clipmarks and watch short video to make clear how it works.

In a nutshell it’s a type of linkback. It’s a process for bloggers to send a notification and demand for linkback once they write something in one of their documents that directs to other blogger content. Once a weblog author publishes a post, the other blogger receives a notification, and through moderation process can permit or refuse the trackback. They moderate it just like a regular comment. If they permit it, trackback will show in comment sector of their post, with linkback to the first blogger.

With WordPress it’s so easy to send demand for trackback. While you are adding a new post, under the text editor, in the sector for this purpose, just put the URL of the weblog you are pointing to. Like here on the image.

Trackbacks and traffic

This is the new way of link exchanging in blogosphere world. A trackback immediately lets other blog author know you just wrote something about them and linked to them. They can allow it and that way exchange link with you. Blogroll or any reciprocal linking is not more a value for search engines, but blogging is active system and many people will read that post and will be in situation to visit the link.

Actually, reciprocal linking is still giving some kind of value to Google if you exchange links with sites with content related to yours. For example, if your blog is about MySpace, exchanging links with someone which weblog is about football will not give you points at Google, but exchanging with weblog about Facebook will bring you points at Google.

I have already blogged about Zemanta, the tool that can be used for finding related articles and that way exchange links with authors. I think that the original purpose of Zemanta is to provide content for your posts (images and articles), but its better that you have original content for your post and try to use the tool in trackback purpose.<

How do you log in to your online accounts (email, membership sites, web 2.0 sites…)? Where do you keep all login information? And how do you generate all passwords for those sites? I hope you are not using the same password for all sites. The best solution is to use some program to generate passwords and save your logins, and here I can recommend the best tool in this field and show you how it is working. Its browsing tool - roboform, which you can install in your Mozilla and Internet Explorer browsers and it will save and remember whole list of details for you. And here are few screenshots showing how it is dealing with your details and passwords.

You want to open account on some site (here is an example with Yahoo) and you do not have to type anything, just float over “generate” button in the installed toolbar in your browser and small window will pop out. Whenever you click on “generate” roboform will create new password, and with just one click on “fill” button it will fill password space on that particular page.

And while logging in for the first time, roboform will pop out and ask you to save details for you. You can save it or not. If you save details, when next time you land on that page, roboform will recognize that site, and all you have to do is to click on the button in the browser (in this case “Yahoo” button), and it will fill your user name and password. Even better, you can login to that site directly from your browser, without visiting the login page (in the toolbar: Logins - Yahoo).

You know all the tedious work when registering on different sites (filling details like gender, birthday, where you from…). Roboform will spare you from this boring typing. With just one click, you will fill all the details on the page. And while browsing the web and visiting different sites it will always be there to fill forms for you.

Previously, you will set your details on Roboform only once.

Precious saver

These screenshots are from my second computer, where you can see only Yahoo. On the first one I have the whole list of sites. Roboform has saved about 200 login details and generated passwords for me in last two months. Now imagine that I have to save them somewhere else. And in one year I will probably have more than 1000.

If you still do not have roboform, get it here. Roboform is trusted with more than 23 million downloads and the time it saves is precious.

I have decided to switch to revolution theme and will do that next week because this week I will have limited access to the internet. And this excellent WordPress theme is nice intro for my post, because its area is much smaller than xmark theme which I am using in this moment. So, my large images do not fit in the new weblog theme, and I will need to adjust them. I’ve already done that with few of them and will continue with the rest.

The point is that I need to reformat my blog images. And I want them to fit in nice, and I found that general rules (which will not cause problems in any theme) are:

For images, only use .jpg or .gif file formats;

Images on the site should be no larger than 400 x 400 pixels at the most. Even better size would be 200 x 200.

Fortunately there are web 2.0 tools making online living easier. Here I’ve described the real kicker, a good free image resize and editing tool: Image and Photo Edit in Easy Way.

Can images bring me free search engine traffic?

Google spiders will not crawl image, Google will crawl text behind the image. Make sure you enable enhanced image search on your site. Find how to do that here.

To get search engine traffic images need alternative, or ALT, text assigned to them (implementing keywords there, but do not use too many to be considered as spam). This is because spiders can’t register images, but rather read the alternative text set to them.

Google webmaster tool is explaining how properly to set your titles and images alt text.

It is important to understand that, go to that link and read short explanation.

Where can I get free images for my blog posts?

Its easy. You can use photo sharing sites like flickr or photobucket, or like I explained at the post Trackback Now, or You’ll Hate Yourself Later you can use Zemanta tool, which suggest images for you, while you are typing in the WordPress editor.

Why I need images in my blog posts?

If above is not enough here are 5 reasons you should definitely consider adding images to your blog posts or pages:

Images append impact to the content on your site, making your pages visually appealing. They create an impression more quickly than a text.

Images make a positive impression, illustrating a point, so visitant is more expected to stay on the site.

”one image speaks thousand words” and evoke a chain of emotions. Those way visitors will stay longer on the site.

Images break up your text on the page and get in easier to read

Images can be tagged with your important keyword bringing supplemental traffic to your site or blog. And this traffic is totally isolated from your text content.

And additionally to everything above, and some kind of encouragement to new bloggers, WordPress makes adding images very easy. If you didn’t used images or just rarely do that, I think this article will persuade you in opposite.

It is probably whole month I am telling myself i will go to this page Google webmasters tools dashboard to check all this things.

… ok, I went today after watching the mentioned youtube video, and it is excellent additional adjustment to this problem. Here is what to do:

Go to the Google Webmasters page, and verify your website,

Pick “tools” option from menu,

And choose “set preferred domain”.

This is the process to pick up the preferred URL, and that way Google will only index the page you select.

Also, you can play with other tools there.
